Cute Party Utensil Caddy

cute party utensil caddy

Before our 4th of July party, I searched Pinterest for ideas on a cutlery holder for a buffet. We knew we’d want to keep it casual and have everything in one place. And I wanted something cute that didn’t require me to individually wrap each fork in a napkin like a fancy origami project. I found some mason jar utensil holders in wood planter boxes that seemed like a great starting point and took it from there.

I’m lucky enough to live near the Austin Craft Lounge and made my own wooden box at one of their classes. But if you don’t want to make one yourself, they are easy to find on Etsy or on Amazon

Any jelly jars or pint mason jars you have will fit in the caddy with plenty of storage space for plastic utensils or nice cutlery. I even added a couple of extra mason jars to hold fresh flowers from the garden. If you don’t have your own jars, I like these wide mouth pint jars.

My two favorite things about this cutlery holder are 1) that the napkins fit right alongside the utensils and 2) the whole thing is easily portable to move inside if it starts raining.
